Now to stay away from any geek commentary which will likely zap all the fun out of using science and logic.
Totally agree. I just want to walk into the cinema with my popcorn and no real info about what happens in the movie so I can be surprised and thrilled with a couple hours of fun and walk away with a smile. I find the endless before and after analysis and critique of movies online leeches much of the fun out the them.

I did stumble on to one which played automatically after watching the trailer. The question being how did the emperor survive the fall?.... “and lets not forget that the fall to the center of the Death Star reactor would have taken at least 30 minutes”

somehow, it's even better when the score is changed to the immigrant song...

I'll go see it for sure, that's a given. Not too impressed with this trailer though. I hope it's better than Episode 8.

Man you beat me to it guys !!! Love just the title, and am wondering
what it all means. So so awesome to see Lando too ! Serioisly can't wait !
I don't understand all the anti-Disney hype surrounding the franchise? I've been entertained by all so far, and it's fun to watch my 6yo son as he's a total Star Wars geek and likely knows more than your average geek -- certainly knows more than me. Maybe I'm not too involved and simply don't give a shit?
The Mandalorian series directed by Jon Favreau (man crush) should deliver me thinks as a Star Wars western... IG-88 (my son had to tell me the name of the droid) looks like a badass gunslinger. I'll buy the Disney service for it... Should work as a great replacement for all the crap kids animation on Netflix. Nice to see Carl Weathers

VIII wasn’t just a bad movie, it was incredibly shitty - easily one of the worst major movies I’ve ever seen. Number VII wasn’t very good, but holy shit VIII was bad.

It reminds me of episodes I, II, and III. Episode I was ok at best. Episode II sucked and three was great.

Couldn't agree more... Just jumped from one action scene to the next, like those stupid short attentions span videos my kid watches on Youtube of college age kids pushing the limits of "asshole-ness" trying to be funny to get more subscribes and likes. The movie felt rushed and lacked any kind of in depth character interaction IMO. Ranking it right up there with the whiny Anakin of Episode II & III... Not sure which was more painful to watch...
