New bike

Post by andy tims » Fri Apr 22, 2022 5:03 am

Picked this up just before the Easter weekend.

Managed to get a few of the running in miles knocked off & almost get rid of the chicken strips.

Love it.

I am sooooo jealous.

I just have to keep reminding myself that you guys have speed cameras. That tones down my jealousy a bit :)

Looks much better IMO & sounds pretty damn good too.

That's all the mods done for the foreseeable.

I had a Gen 1 when they were fairly new on the market

It was a fantastic bike, but the new one is slightly better in almost every area, especially the handling. The new bike is much more flickable but with a steering damper, it shakes it's head a bit less.

The BMW is on the Bridgestone S22s it came with. They are good. Previously I've been a big fan of the Metzler M7RR's so I'm planning to try the new M9RR's at some point.

The Suzuki is on Continental Track Slicks
