A Christmas Story Christmas

Post by AtomicTom » Sun Nov 06, 2022 5:10 pm

Guys, did you hear about A Christmas Story Christmas by chance? :santa:

It looks to actually have a few of the original cast members,
and will be released just before Thanksgiving it looks like.

Here is a preview...

You'll shoot your eye out kid!

A longstanding tradition for me is to watch A Christmas Story every Christmas day.

Looking forward to watching this.

I was against it when I first heard about it, but the trailer makes it seems like it could be good. I will end up watching it.

With the original being a great classic I hope this one doesn't suck.

Sounds like we all love watching the original every year guys. :santa:
Here’s hoping this one is at least half as good as the original.
And you know, I am going to have to go to you guys for your
reviews because I don’t have HBO. ;)

Maybe they will have a free preview or something though. :)

In any case, I’m just happy everyone is looking forward to the
movie, and can’t thank all of you enough for chiming in on this !!!

Definitely not as good as the original for sure. Once again the trailer made it look funnier than it actually was.

More evidence the entertainment industry is pretty much out of new ideas. Bunch of retreads and "reimaginings" :banghead:

I was going to watch it the other night but with all the bad reviews and so much content to watch out there, I said no. I’ll watch the original this year like always and pretend all the others don’t exist.

Me and wife made it 30min. Snooze fest, not funny, dumb story line. I don’t think you could pay me enough to finish it.

Lmao yeah it doesn’t get any better. I kept it on in the background and tuned out about halfway in through about 15 minutes till the end. Then went back to dutifully watching the last bit in the hopes hat somehow it would redeem itself to no avail.
