First Mini show

Post by stonehead887 » Sat Apr 29, 2023 7:47 am

Hey guys

Thought I would share some pics of today. Took my Mini to its first show since I have owned it, nearly 2 years now. Mine is the Orange one.
Car was great fun to drive and performed well. It's the longest trip out I have taken so far, round trip around 60 miles. Engine will need a bit of a tune up, mainly timing and it's running a bit rich. Also, will adjust rear suspension up just a touch to cope better with some of the bumpy road.
The location was the old Royal Ordinance Depot in Northamptonshire (for the brits), it's a fantastic place, see link.
Although it was a Mini show, there was plenty of automotive and aviation to enjoy

Your Mini looks great! I really like that Rover P6, too.

Thanks. I used to have a P6 3500s many years ago. The owner of this one let me sit in it , that brought back some memories

There were some nice Minis at a show I went to recently. Of course I only took a picture of one of them.
