168000 - Priced Like the 5513?

Is the 168000 sub now considered to be a vintage collectible? I was confused when the 5513 went from cheaper than a contemporary Sub to substantially more. Is the same thing happening with the transitional 168000?

After the dealers ran of out good gloss dial vintage to sell they pumped the market for acrylic/matte dials. After they ran out of good acrylics they convinced people that the matte/sapphire transitional models were just as desirable. I guess they’ve run out those and now they’re pumping up the previously unloved “pre modern” models.
