Tudor just unveiled the new Ranger. 39mm, in house COSC, $3050 on bracelet.

I can't tell if its fauxtina or not, but a cool release, basically a BB58 cased Ranger. I'm very BB36 curious, so I wonder how this would compare? Bigger obviously.

Of course I wish they'd kept the drilled lugs from the previous ranger, but oh well.

Website says T-Fit clasp, which is the Tudor Glidelock, right?

If so, I want one.

If so, that bracelet is much more desirable than the rivet one on the BB58.

Yes, at least it's a similar idea. It's also available on nylon or a leather/rubber hybrid strap for $2750, but I'd go bracelet for sure. Easy enough to buy other options.

Yeah. Bracelet is stellar. If it fit my BB58 and provided it doesn’t sell first, I’ll toss bracelet on it. Wear Ranger on natos.

Must find one asap.

Yeah this might replace the Exp 1 I’ve been toying with getting once prices become reasonable again. Very excited for this one.

I hope it wears large. been waiting for an in-house version and they had to cut it down to 39mm from 41mm BOOOO
Rumor has it the new Explorer will be 41mm like my OP41 so I'll just wait and see

Where is this rumor from?

I’d be thrilled with a 41mm Explorer with matte dial.

I started to contact my AD this morning, and then I remembered I can't buy anything right now. :crybaby: I'll pick one up at some point. I'm assuming this won't be as hard to find as the FXD, but who knows.

I would think it'd wear pretty large being all dial. The 41mm Ranger was a little too big for me, but I have smaller wrists. I'd be shocked if Rolex upsized the Explorer so soon after downsizing it to 36.

That looks good, but it's going to be impossible for all but the best refinishers to polish.

I agree. I think this Tudor is clearly the "I want a bigger Explorer" option.

They're following the same formula as with OP, killed 39 rolled out 41 and kept 36. Explorer 1 would be the same. We hope

PS. Frankly OP at 41mm doesn't even wear large so 41mm Explorer would be perfect

I'm a fan of options so I think a 36mm and a 41mm explorer would be great -- a larger option would be a much better use of capacity than that dogshit TT version.

That's gorgeous! It reminded me I did get to try on an OP41 and it did fit very nicely even on my small wrist. Unfortunately it was a display model so it wasn't available. I'd love a silver OP41. I think I read that it's actually 39mm?

Thanks Jeff. Yep, Rolex 41 is never really 41 :) So that's why I was hoping for the new ranger to stay 41, I think it made sense in my head

This is pretty much going to be the perfect watch size at 39mm.
