Doxa Sub 300t California Sea

Post by Gatorfan8894 » Wed Dec 11, 2024 6:59 pm

Good evening. New to the forum. Has anyone bought one of the 300t California Sea Limited Editions? It’s a good looking watch. Just ordered one.

Thank you. I searched but didn’t see any information on that specific model. there’s only a few out there from what I’ve seen.

It is a great color combination.

I'm not certain there is anything unique about it over the standard Doxa 300T model (which I own and really enjoy).

The only thing I don't like about this model is the "Limited Edition" text on the dial. I would have preferred if that were just engraved on the case back someplace.

As an aside, does it come with both the bracelet and the strap? I'm guessing "yes", but didn't see it on the German jeweler's website when I looked.

yes. both. I was able to convince them to sell it with one or the other for a discount but i bought both anyway. Shipping to the US and customs were extra

So, subtracting VAT, and adding shipping and currency conversion fee's, you are at about $2,200-ish? That's not bad for an AD sourced 300T with both strap options (Doxa wants $400+ for the rubber strap alone).

I'd say it is actually a very good deal, especially since you will not likely see this color combination at a grey market dealer.

I agree. That was my thought. ended up being about $2500 with both straps and the customs costs. But as you said, the strap is $400. I know doxa charges $200 or more for the limited edition. so strap and LE is over $600.

Aruba Lou, I’m on your island right now for Christmas!

No Doxa for me, but the diving has been great.
