Rick M selling his doxa

Hi everyone, as I am closing the Doxa chapter in my professional career after resurrecting the DOXA SUB in 2001 and serving the brand for 20 years, I will be offering my personal DOXA SUB collection for auction on phillips auctions, and before I do that, I wanted to give those who supported me and the brand for the decades the opportunity to acquire a few of those pieces before they go on public auction. Since the early days of WUS with Ernie Romers, this place has been my home and every active member here has been part of my big family and I feel that I owe you this..

The collection includes:
1. a complete set of 1/300 Black lung SUB300 2016-2019 edition, professional , Searambler and Sharkhunter, I feel that this trio builds a milestone of the modern DOXA history and should stay together, I am sure that real Doxaholics will appreciate this. This trio is obviously a once in a lifetime opportunity to own the no1 of each of the piece that marked the biggest success of DOXA in the modern era
2. DOXA SUB300T Poseidon 1/300
3. one of the very few survivors of the first year of the DOXA SUB, a 1967 DOXA SUB300 Black Lung on complete BOR bracelet, I bought this watch from the original owner in 2003, he dove it in Italy / Trieste for 10 years and then put it a drawer and switched to Quartz, I tried to contact him ever since, but had no luck

and a few more..

If anyone is interested, please shoot me a PM

I received tens of PMs, and I like to thank you so much for the overwhelming feedback, I am so honored and grateful for your support over the years,

As for the watches, it is not easy to decide whom to sell to, I am torn between selling to someone I know have a large doxa collection and appreciate the pieces and new faces who want to build a collection, so in order to be fair, I will just put them on ebay and forget Phillips..
Watch collector since 1989

Well, that’s an interesting way to promote your eBay sales pitch.

That said, I’m not certain I’d be selling relatively high dollar items on eBay given the PayPal return policy. Too much risk as a seller.

The fallout between him and Doxa must have been pretty nasty for him to essentiwllu say he doesn’t even want to wear a Doxa anymore.

The BL #1 trio is pretty special...if I had seen that project to fruition I think it would be very hard for me to give those up.

the dude who brought Doxa divers back from the dead in the early 2000's is selling his doxa's because they kicked his ass to the curb this year.
