New Doxa LE from Dubai Watch Week
LE of 50 pcs for Doxa AD Seddiqi & Sons featuring a deep sea blue dial in natural mother of pearl
not going to lie, I like it.

Re: New Doxa LE from Dubai Watch Week
I don’t care for “special edition” on the dial

My one nit to pick as well.hoppyjr wrote:I don’t care for “special edition” on the dial

Re: New Doxa LE from Dubai Watch Week
I really like it. I'm just not certain I like it 2X the cost of a standard 300T.
Glass half empty / Glass half full analysis is
Glass half empty: At the $3,500 price point, I'm probably going to be cross shopping a Tudor Black Bay which will offer a COSC movement and the brand assurance that they will be able to provide quality service to my watch in 5 years. With Doxa? Maybe not.
Glass half full: Doxa has risen to the point that I would even consider cross shopping it against a Tudor.

Agreed. I like it otherwise.hoppyjr wrote:I don’t care for “special edition” on the dial

The special edition and the blacked out timing marks on the bezel both bug me. I wonder what that dial looks like in real pics though?
Re: New Doxa LE from Dubai Watch Week
I'm not liking the matching bezel and dial combo. I guess I like them contrasting a bit more

Interesting- I’m in the other camp. I like the matching bezel/face and feel it brings a nice balance to the face to case ratio.hobbit712 wrote:I'm not liking the matching bezel and dial combo. I guess I like them contrasting a bit more

I really like this one especially on the BOR.
I’d be in at 2k though they’re probably all spoken for

Re: New Doxa LE from Dubai Watch Week
Yeah wow, I like this one too Mike. I genuinely like everything about it,
and it’s different without going off the rails. I mean the look is basically
classic, and the dial, and bezel are changed up in a really tasteful way
I think. Thank you so so much for the look !!!

I intend to purchase it as a gift for my fiancée!
Re: New Doxa LE from Dubai Watch Week
I’m all over it - one of you rich guys need to buy it and wear it around the office for a while then flip it to me at a huge discount - thanks in advance!!
Wrt to dark bezel, I’ve been pining for a sub with a dark bezel for years so big thumbs up on that mod

Re: New Doxa LE from Dubai Watch Week
I'm afraid the new DOXA is becoming a fashion watch company. I honestly haven't been fond of any of the new releases, to date. This one has an unreadable bezel and the extra text on the dial- meh.

Re: New Doxa LE from Dubai Watch Week
Late to the party on this one.
I absolutely hate it. The dial is great but that bezel, why oh why. I doubt the inner bezel ring would be readable in a swimming pool, not that you'd need it, let alone under the sea. The inner bezel ring in steel with dark paint numbers might have looked better, but that's only my two pence worth
