EZM1 & Silva Thumb Compass

Post by andy_s » Tue May 28, 2019 11:11 am

Just back from a week of mountain running in Wales, the weather was superb, sight-lines good but a gnarly 5 days for sure, covering 200 miles including 15Km of ascent. My main instruments were the EZM1 and the Silva thumb compass; both pared down to offer uncluttered quick reading for a specific purpose, both worked a treat.

Damn, well done. You beat the crap out of that EZM1, and I love that.

My year was 30-36-44-44-39 miles per day; they added a day this year, but also about 40 miles as well!

I wouldn't bother, Andy... it's a very cool watch, but I think you'll find it too massive, like I did... imagine a 44mm steel EZM1 on those 40 mile treks

great catch on the 3H

Good to see you in action again. I remember your WUS post years ago running in desert with EZM1 too.

That's amazing...congrats on the race accomplishment...I hear those race trails can be sketchy in places surprised you wore such a nice watch...but good to see it got used and I am sure you are even more bonded with it now
