Glad your avoided major injury!Axelay2003 wrote:Sorry guys, I fell yesterday from a 10ft ladder while using a chainsaw trying to cut back oak trees prepping it to build a bamboo style tree house for the kids. Right leg has a large gash and lateral muscles looked contorted and wrist is swollen. We prayed and asked our church family and friends to pray for me.
Doc walks in and said "I don't know if you believe in God, but miraculously you don't have a single fracture in your arm or leg."
I’m hoping another member took receipt theirs. I’ll try to open the package a little later.
You’ll live to open the box to your U50P, haha.
I build a tree house-fort whatever you want to call it. I started digging the post holes by hand in fall of 2019 and I finished June 2020.
What I learned after reading up as much as I could is that if you plan on actually drilling into or using the tree that you’ll eventually kill it. Not sure how long it takes but because of that I basically just built it right beside a big walnut tree.

Tough injury, but great construction.
Hope the kids treat you extra special during your recovery.
Re: Sinn U50 Pro!
Thanks JP. At first they kept running down the road to the neighbors house to play on theirs… I’m like wtf! This thing took forever and cost way more than I expected with the lumber prices shooting up at the time. Currently the swings get the most use. overall I’m glad I did it.JP Chestnut wrote:That’s nice Ben. I’m sure your kids love it.BBK357 wrote: ↑Fri Jul 01, 2022 1:01 pmWow Gerard that’s horrible! That looks great, Ben! I don’t think I can do that, lol.
After my incident, I’ll just pay someone to do something simple. I need my hands to make a living.

Re: Sinn U50 Pro!
Sorry about your chainsaw accident. Use make my living using a chain saw. Only had one chainsaw accident was in a 60 foot boom on a bucket truck pruning a cork oak tree and some how cut my arm with the chainsaw. A chainsaw no joke even for a professional. Get well.

Can’t get the bracelet to fit quite right (annoying) but this works for now. Such a better size for me compared to the U1P.

That dome looks awesome.
Re: Sinn U50 Pro!
Well I’m not as bad as Gerard. But I fell last night out in the yard and got a nasty sprained ankle.
U50P just got delivered to cheer me up.
Perfect watch. Love it.

You sure you didn’t get that injury doing your adult cheer competition?BBK357 wrote:Well I’m not as bad as Gerard. But I fell last night out in the yard and got a nasty sprained ankle.

Re: Sinn U50 Pro!
Damn this one is perfect. Can’t argue with that size. Enjoy guys!
Re: Sinn U50 Pro!
Congrats to all the U50P incomings!
The size (and thinness) is great for a lot of wrist sizes, including mine. Wears a lot lighter on the bracelet than the U1P too (U1P weight didn't bother me, but not being heavy is a big plus).
