Sinn U50 Pro!
Re: Sinn U50 Pro!
Quick picture in 2 degree weather. I've had it for a few days and it's definitely more comfy than the U1 series.

Hey guys, looking for some advice here. I've been looking for one of these and found one at a dealer for a fair price. I've heard these movements can be a little hit or miss so I asked him to throw it on the timegrapher for me and these were the results:
Crown down was around +10
All other positions were between +4-7
My gut tells me to take a pass.... What's your vote?

I honestly don’t think you’ll do a whole lot better than that.

I agree. The Sellita movements haven’t impressed me much, but it is likely different on wrist vs machine anyway.CGSshorty wrote:I honestly don’t think you’ll do a whole lot better than that.
There was a u50 pro on Reddit (via Recon) for $2700. I don’t know the guy but that seems cheap

I think. Lot of us are getting spoiled by chronometer grade movements Tudors at this price.., and all of the ETA Sinn’s I have owned have ran within COSC. My 50 pro is about around +8-10. Not terrible but not great.
Re: Sinn U50 Pro!
I was going to wait until the one year anniversary hit of when I received mine to say this, but my timing has been incredible.
If you look at random comments I made throughout the 11 months I bitched about the time being fast, slowing, then fast.
About 3 months ago it settled. And I mean it gains about 2 seconds a week. I wear it or leave it face up on my dresser.
I consider myself lucky, I wouldn’t expect others to be this good.

My U1P is ridiculously accurate. +1 or 2. Luck of the draw. I never wear the same watch two days in a row, so I don’t really care either way.

The only time I check a watch’s accuracy is 1) when I buy it and 2) before I go to sell it, because people ask.
Re: Sinn U50 Pro!
Finally got to check out a U50P in person yesterday. Holy hell what an awesome watch! That is all.

Still my favorite watch… ever.
I’ve had it on bracelet since fall. On nato now and hoping they make a new Teg adjustable clasp for the U50 ASAP.
