That sucks man. I get it though. The beginning of 2021 we started getting medical bills and it has continued into this year. My wife got a knee scope done a few months back. I had a few days in the hospital this time last year, had x-rays-ct scan done earlier this year when I was sick. And now I’ll have an urgent care and x-Ray bill for my ankle from last week. My doctor hates insurance companies and always tells me that’s why the prices are so high. My wife got charged an extra $1800 for the surgery lasting 15min longer than planned… wtf?jswing wrote:Thanks and i know you're both right. I'll figure it out. Re: Sinn U50 Pro!
I'm not sure if it's the insurance companies or the medical providers. Her hospital bills for two days were over $50k, and then a company charged $9k just to send a heart monitor in the mail that she had to return. Huh? Of course I'm not responsible for all that, but being self employed I don't have the greatest insurance so I'll pay a good bit. I was really hoping my Sinn would come later in the year, but I think I will try to keep it.BBK357 wrote:That sucks man. I get it though. Medical expenses are crazy. The providers charge so much because of the insurance companies. I’ve seen bills from long term NICU stays that parents have shown me… and it’s so stupid. $50 for a pacifier, $90 for a pack of disposable leads we change daily…. Insanity.jswing wrote:I'm not sure if it's the insurance companies or the medical providers. My dr told me about when Prilosec came out in the 1980’s, he said it was a dream come true for people with heartburn because it was the first medicine that worked well. He said it was initially expensive at the time at $1 a day= $30 a month. He said when the insurance companies got ahold of it it went to $3 a day.

If my wife and I didn’t make the decision a long time ago to go with what is essentially the platinum healthcare plan available at her job (and is way better than anything at mine), we’d literally be bankrupt with all of my son’s medical needs. No joke.BBK357 wrote:Medical expenses are crazy. The providers charge so much because of the insurance companies. It’s such a great piece.

That looks great, Ed. So much better than the single pass straps you usually favor.hoppyjr wrote:It’s such a great piece.

Re: Sinn U50 Pro!
Thanks Chris. I like the comfort of the single pass Zulus strap, mostly because it is overall less height and softer material usually. That said, these NATO’s with black hardware really work with that watch.CGSshorty wrote:That looks great, Ed. Re: Sinn U50 Pro!
I always cut off the bottom strap on natos and basically turn them in to a single strap but keep the nato look. I don't get the point of that bottom strap at all.hoppyjr wrote: ↑Sat Jul 23, 2022 5:08 pmThanks Chris. Re: Sinn U50 Pro!
The maratac titanium zulus would work really well on these too.
Re: Sinn U50 Pro!
Sadly only the black one fits well. The others are a bit thick.dukerules wrote:The maratac titanium zulus would work really well on these too.
Re: Sinn U50 Pro!
Nice. I’ve had the green one in my cart numerous times. May just need to pull the trigger.

What a watch this is. Gutted to have missed out on the initial sale.
Some great pictures of it in here though

Re: Sinn U50 Pro!
I find that the overall visual, the look on the wrist isn’t that different, but the comfort and lighter weight of the little brother makes it the winner.tmw wrote:U1P and U50P. Just arrived!
Re: Sinn U50 Pro!
I have to throw the u50p on a matching Hirsch extreme and then compare.
It looks a lot smaller but much lighter.
