Omega's New Limited Edition Speedmaster

Post by 425ranger » Wed Feb 11, 2015 11:59 am

LINK: First The Moon, Now The Sun: Omega's New Limited Edition Speedmaster Skywalker Solar Impulse

I really like this line... Not a lime green guy but the watch looks fun.

Image

The Solar Impulse has three different adjustable time zones, three alarms (with different pitches), a chronograph and countdown function, a perpetual calendar with the day, date, month, year and week number indications and two features designed for pilots and astronauts: total mission elapsed time (MET) and phase elapsed time (PET).

I really like that one as well. Scared to hear the price though.

This.

Would be a great, fun watch if it came in right around $1000.

Otherwise, too expensive for something with limited wear potential

I was so close to getting this. All I had to do was hand my credit card over to the sales lady but I stepped back and my wife intercepted it.

Still the funniest guy on the board.

... the blue + Ti grey is nice, but the green is not for me. Also, I have an issue with how the blue dial parts highlight the odd LCD screen cutout shape.

Don't forget that Omega is part of the Swatch group... maybe they moved some of their designer around for this one and the Anti-magnetic Aquaterra...

I like blue, and I like omega blue in particular. The blue with the darker metal is really nice. The lime green... not for me.
