I will have one.

Lists are already crazy. Maybe as long as subs/gmts....or longer.

I bought a cheap watch from a crazy man
Floating down canal
It doesn't use numbers or moving hands
It always just says now
Now you may be thinking that I was had

It’s nice, but needs a bracelet. And it’s $10K. Those prices just keep climbing. Which is good because I’m ok with my three Speedmasters, and really don’t need another one.
Have you seen what the 45th anniversary Silver Snoopy Award Speedy is commanding on the second hand market? It's crazy - I see them listed at $40,000. I'm pretty sure it retailed somewhere in the mid to upper four figures.
Can anyone point me to any sold watches at that price? I searched sold listings on eBay and came up empty. None of the other internet listings in the $40K range are marked 'sold'.

'listed at' is not the same as 'selling for'.
So here's a real sale, a Sotheby's auction result:

https://www.sothebys.com/en/buy/auction ... nniversary

The watch sold for $23K, not quite the $40K that some sellers are hoping to get.

If I had the cash I’d buy one for my father who actually was awarded the “Silver Snoopy” from NASA. He’s not a watch guy, but earning that award was the highlight of his career.

I can’t, and there aren’t many out there to be sure. But the last one I saw listed was on Watchbox. Their pricing can be aggressive, but it’s not ridiculous when compared to the market. OTOH, it’s still listed, so who knows?

Right, the market seems to have spoken and said 'no' to a $40K Speedmaster reissue.

I like this. Like the Apollo 8, I’ll get one eventually.

Really like this one. The Speedmaster for me had always been one of those 'ought to get' watches because its heritage, which in this instance is fully justified.
But this version looks stunning. The blue against the silver dial, loaded with technical and cool features and non-limited.
It's a winner in every respect

Dial - nice. Case back with animated Apollo capsule - hokey. Price - ridiculous.

the prices are ridiculous. Anyone care to buy my 2014 Hulk for $19,000 so I can save up for this one? it's a good deal.

Wishful thinking. Check back in a few months and see if it's still for sale. I suspect it will be.

Even the previous Silver Snoopy - arguably a more desirable watch - isn't selling at those prices. I've found some that have gone for about $20K, but not much more.

Yep. Asking != market price, especially for a piece with unconfirmed availability velocity. That’s why I’m holding off for this and didn’t rush to my AD to get on the list.

White dial speedy and blue accents, I love it!
Add snoopy- this is a winner.

Pretty common across many programming languages, including Python, C/C++, Java, Javascript etc.

Ok, enough computer nerd stuff, back to watches :)

The price of modern LE Speedmasters is something I just cannot wrap my head around.

3689.30.31 can be had for <$10k if you're patient, has blued hands, a white dial, no bracelet, a nifty eye-looking moon complication, and made of 18kt white gold.
