Omega's Seamaster Aqua Terra 150M "Beijing 2022"

Post by AtomicTom » Sat Nov 06, 2021 10:23 am

Has everyone had time to see Omega's Seamaster Aqua Terra for
the Olympic Winter Games in Beijing yet?

This watch has an ice-like frost pattern white ceramic dial, with
cool blue hands, and markers, as well as 41mm stainless steel case,
150m WR, and domed sapphire crystal. On top of that, you have
H-Link style bracelets, plus in-house Calibre Omega 8900 as well.

Just a few pictures...

I like that dial a lot. It reminds me of grand seiko.

Am with you guys, it really is nice. ;)

So many times we will see limited, or special editions not always be very
special. However, these are nice right?! ..They look like honest to goodness
Aqua Terras, but with the most subtle, and coolest of changes.

Jacob, what a terrific comparison to grand seiko ! :salute: It definitely is stunning
as you said Eric ! ..Yup, I definitely like it too Dave ! :) It's a special edition
that really is pretty special.

Honestly, it would be great if they actually had a dial similar to this on a
regular, no limited/special edition of the Aqua Terra right?!

Can't thank you guys enough for giving your thoughts on these !!!

I like it! The fact that there is no power reserve and date at 3 cluttering up the dial, makes it a better looking watch than the GS snowflake, this is saying a lot!!

Yeah sure!
I love it that way too. That's one of the major design strengths.
