Everytime I put this on I wonder why I need other watches...

IMHO - Omega NAILED it on the 2254.5.

:clap: So true, a genuine modern classic. With such a following, it's hard to understand why they haven't released an updated version.

Yeah. It’s pretty spot on, especially with the adjustable clasp mod.

Congrats and Good Luck! I have NO PLANS to ever sell mine... it's my 69' Chevelle SS 396. Its a classic and an "everything" watch that wears well everywhere and anytime!

It IS the best iteration of the SMP I think. Rinse hands are too and it wears so well too. I don’t understand why Omega hasn’t yet made a new version of that watch. It was the best variant of the SMPs. Should have never sold mine years back
