Finally a Submersible for my wrist 682 landed
Finally a Submersible for my wrist 682 landed
Im used to wearing larger watches but i really wanted a Sub to replace the 243 that i had a few years back. The 243 never was comfy for me due to its size on my small wrist. Once i sold it, i always wanted to get a 305 as i love the dial layout, lack of a cyclops etc.....but they are way too big at 47mm.
Once i heard about the 682 release i really wanted to see one in the flesh but never had the chance to do that. At 42mm, that same killer dial layout as the 305, no cyclops and the new in house 9010 movement, on paper it sounded like a dream Panerai for me. Plus i really like the simple tab buckle versus the Pre V style on most Panerai ive had. I struck a deal with Chad aka seagoingsailor and finally got one on my wrist to try out.....It was originally bought a month ago so still really new! It is 100 percent the perfect fit for me for a Panerai. that 2mm makes a difference for sure! Very comfy to wear and just looks killer with that pop of blue! Here are some quick pics.

Love it! I miss mine!
Re: Finally a Submersible for my wrist 682 landed
Congrats Eric! I have contemplated picking up one of those and doing the nato/zulu strap thing. Cool watch.
Re: Finally a Submersible for my wrist 682 landed
hmm id like to see what it looks like on a NATO...likely would look good. I was afraid that since submersibles are a bit top heavy (my 243 seemed to be) that the smaller footprint would make it wobbly to wear....Not at all.....Its just great on my wrist. So much better wearing than the 243 was for me.

Thx Paul, its like the story of Goldilocks.....The 243 was too big, others too small, the 682 is just right...
Re: Finally a Submersible for my wrist 682 landed
My favorite was the 025, with the 024 as a close second. I had a 243 for about two weeks and like you said, it was too big...

Congrats, looks perfect on your wrist. I'd personally keep it on the rubber strap, I don't think it works as well on leather.
Re: Finally a Submersible for my wrist 682 landed
Congrats, Eric. The 682 is a helluva watch, and looks good on ya. I loved the 243, but the proportions were a little off.
Re: Finally a Submersible for my wrist 682 landed
If I were to ever get another PAM sub this is hands down the one I’d get. Congrats bud.
Re: Finally a Submersible for my wrist 682 landed
David knowing your past collection, this would be great for you. Plus the size would work well for you.
