Recommended Panerai AD, current discount?
Recommended Panerai AD, current discount?
I've never bought a PAM new before, and I dont know if I ever plan to, but I'm looking at the 42mm submersibles and I was just curious if there's a recommended AD. Also, what are the usual discounts, 15%, 20%?
Re: Recommended Panerai AD, current discount?
If there is an AD giving 20% discounts please let me know...I would find that hard to believe..

Morning mate,
Great watches the 42mm submersibles. The thinner case wears nicer than the old 682 IMO.
I got 15 percent off when I purchased my 683 last year from our local AD here in Perth Australia.
That was just after they were released, plus we only have the one pam AD this side of oz, so it is possible bigger discounts are available in the States / now the watch has been out a while.

To buy ANY Panerai new is bananas, in my opinion. The gray market is just too good...

Re: Recommended Panerai AD, current discount?
I've bought all my PAMs new so I guess I'm
The AD I've dealt with has given me a pretty decent discount and he provides great customer service. Having a factory warranty is nice if you need it too, although you do get that in some cases from grey dealers.
I realize I'm probably in the minority here , but I'm personally willing to pay a bit more to buy from an AD and know that Im getting the real deal that hasn't been screwed with by the grey dealers' own watchmaker. Peace of mind and a relationship with a real AD are worth it IMHO

I bought my 000 brand new from an AD back in 2010 or so. If I ever buy another, I’ll probably do that again.

I don’t know that I’ll ever be in the market for a new Panerai. However, that video on fake Seamasters would be enough to push me to an AD.
If you put a large switch in some cave somewhere, with a sign on it saying 'End-of-the-World Switch. PLEASE DO NOT TOUCH', the paint wouldn't even have time to dry.

I am in the market for a Panerai and new to the Connection. If someone could please provide me the AD discount info to me as well in a PM, it would be appreciated. Thanks

I am interested in knowing about an AD I can establish a relationship with that provides the 20% too.
Additionally, I can assist if anyone is interested in a 42mm submersible.
Thanks,
David.

Could someone please send me the information? I'd appreciate it as I'm looking for a Panerai as my wedding watch.

My AD is in Birmingham, AL. For such an important watch, I’m either buying new. Or you and I have had drinks together on more than one occasion.
