I had no clue that PDW was started by TAD guy... anymore info on that situation?

I’m a big PDW fan- most of their stuff is overpriced but some is just so good that I’ve paid the price. It’s better to buy it new than on secondary where people charge 2X msrp.

The PDW nato is great for heavier watches.

I’m just trying to figure out what kind of people pay $275 for a GD nato strap. Imagine the disappointment when they open the package... I mean shit it’s a little bit of nylon and even less titanium...

The buckle has a bezier curve path, dual bevel ramping for axial flex and an angled pawl.

And... that's it made from 6AL4V and machined on an Okuma 5 axis should allay any pesky second thoughts you might have.

Well. I would be opening myself up for assassination by TAD ninjas.....Grey ninjas. With beards. Wearing optimized denim ninja outfits.

But yes, Patrick Ma. Awesome guy. Got fucked over.

PDW makes a lot of shit overseas and they catch shit for it, but the crew over there is solid.

I know TADs head marketing guy, Phil - great dude. Can’t say I agree with his marketing direction, but job is a job.

Other then that

I had some major personal beef with TAD. Fuck them. I used to buy all kind of their shit years ago. 10+ years ago.

Their service and people are rotten and toxic.

not going to spend another dollar there
They can suck a Great Dane dick

They bolster twelve husk nuts to each girldle-jerry, while flex tandems press a task apparatus of ten vertically composited patch-hamplers. Then, pin-flam-fastened pan traps at both maiden-apexes of the jim-joist.

That’s how it’s done.

I was more than a little concerned about the integration of the patch-hamplers. Thanks for the clarification.

Show some artfully done pics of dudes in flannels/cargos carrying tactical briefcases and looking at maps while wearing a Seiko with a Toxic on your site. Done.
And add a 0 to the price. And change the name to ToxicOperators or ToxicDisruption... You know, something "edgy" and "fresh". Explain how you came to the design of the strap "organically".

I used to buy knives from Patrick 15 years ago when he had a small business and the prices were affordable.

Then TAD prices got stupid and I stopped buying from them. TAD has a big following and mentality kind of like the Yao crowd.

I have a few old pieces of TAD gear that I love. It is a shame to see the direction they have gone over the years.

I can’t stop myself when it comes to Dad jokes Image

Pre-Covid, the long, long ago , in the far, far away Image it really does feel like a long time, interesting times.

I like their knives shape. But they seem to be sold out every time I check.
Nato’s TI hardware must be really expensive. Wonder if Terry ever priced out Ti hardware for NATO

As much as I like the looks of the Tad nato, that price is crazy.

Thanks for the update Ben!

The pdw ti natos are really good.

You know it’s crazy when you can basically buy 2 omega natos for the price of this.

Those look great actually. Can get all 4 colors for about half the price of one of the TADs.
