I just came across this in a review and it looks interesting. Yes, it’s expensive (like Matt’s Ares rubber strap, but it’s apparently done very well.
My single biggest complaint with the rubber straps on the market today is that the buckle end doesn’t center under my wrist, it’s always too far toward the 12 side. These are typically 120/80 size, with the 80mm being the buckle end. I wish for an Isofrane with a longer buckle end, maybe 90-95mm
I’ve tried the Hirsch Pure in 120/100 “XL” and while it solves the buckle centering, it actually fits on the very last hole, so no room to tighten the strap. It’s also only available in 20mm.
This new Marathon strap is FKM rubber and it’s apparently made in Switzerland, branded as such. It comes with two buckle end pieces; 70mm and 90mm, with the tongue side being 120 in 20mm width. This gives you both a 120/70 and 120/90 size. It also includes extra spring bars. The buckle is brushed stainless. The 120/70 configuration should be great for smaller wrist folks who find the opposite problem with most 120/80 stuff.
I plan on ordering this as it should be a perfect solution for me. It’s also available in 18, 20, and 22 mm widths.
Edit: the tongue (long) side is 115mm on 18mm width, 120mm on 20mm width, and 125mm on 22mm width. Very well thought out.

Re: New Marathon rubber “Strap System”
Nice simple solution to an aggravating problem. Buckle on the edge of the wrist sucks. Marathon’s is a better option than buying both the M and L strap options (if that’s even an option) and having two parts left over.
