Just in..... PRW-3500

Post by hoppyjr » Mon Mar 23, 2015 6:59 pm

Here is the black & stainless one. Bezel is actually stainless steel, not plastic. Light is dual-led, sensors are v3 and super quick. Looks big because it is, but it's resin so very light weight. Height is 14.5mm so it wears well on 22mm NatoStrapCo nato strap. Love it.

It looks great on the NATO.

How cool is that!?

Love it!

Edit: 20 bar so you can dive it... Bad ass!

How much was it?

It wears great. While its large in diameter, the lug to lug isn't bad (maybe 50?). It's also a reasonable height, reminding me of the 1200/1300 series. It's definitely better than the PRW-2500 I had, as the 3500 case back is flat and stainless steel, without the black piece that usually sits over the back. Good move by Casio.

Just under $300 on the 'bay. Priority Mail shipping from NJ was included.

Yes, 20bar water resistant so it's really a do-it-all piece. I've owned several Pathfinder/Pro-Trek models and this is absolutely a better watch in every way. The larger time display is more appropriate for this type of watch.

Stock strap removes easily enough; screw bars which go through a tube, so it's darned secure on a nato. You will need two screwdrivers. ;)

Yeah really cool...

I have a couple of suuntos that I like but I can't dive them and my Prg240 is great as well as it is solar powered and very intuitive but I can't dive it either and all that plastic gets chewed up in the 'box'

The stock strap is decent, but these also work on a 22mm Isofrane. I occasionally wore my 2500 that way.

Great that Casio put back on these the normal lugs for people can use Natos and such. Great move. Glad you got one Ed!

Absolutely

Are the seconds always displayed in the bottom section? And can you either have "day / date" or "date / month" up the top?

Fanx
