this 50/60 series of protreks is really tempting- they are around 42-43mm in case size, closer to 47-48mm from the left sensor across to the edge of the crown. L2L is apprx 50.5mm and they are around 13.5mm thick
has all the bells and whistles like the triple sensor (ABC/temp), tough solar, multi-band 6 atomic timekeeping, screw down crown.
I will probably wait awhile until the price drops on these before I pick one up but these are really tempting. I loved the 600 series one I had a few months back but the size of it was a little larger than I liked for an everyday kind of watch, so it mostly sat in the drawer. I could see wearing this smaller model much more often.

Casio Pro Trek PRW-50 and PRW-60
Re: Casio Pro Trek PRW-50 and PRW-60
hopefully swapping out the quick release with regular spring bars will be possible, thanks for pointing that out!Seppia wrote: ↑Mon Oct 14, 2019 1:33 pm“I check the watch often at night when I wake up for urination”
These look super cool, all my trips in Tokyo I drooled looking at the 60 model, but can’t pay $460 for a g shock.
Also not happy with the quick release straps, an obvious weakness point.
Still, hopefully they go down in price as they look superb.
if these get down to the $175-225 level I will really take a hard look at picking one up
amazon has the version with the titanium bracelet on sale for about $295 but the bracelet looks pretty shitty, i definitely prefer the rubber on these
