Looks fantastic, but I’m not paying GS money for a G-shock sorry
I spent some time at Topper yesterday, and apparently (it was news to me), there is a $7600 G-Shock...

(it looks like an Invicta or a tacticool knife...)
This one?

Comes with a free titanium square right now.

I really like G-Shock but the higher end ones just don’t feel like the finishing is there on the hands and dial. I had a MT-G that was around $900 and the hands and dial didn’t feel like anything special to a watch a 3rd of that. I don’t know how they did it with the metal squares and up but the display is so much sharper that it very noticeably better. I think any G I would get now would be digital unless I could get my hands on a Giez, and beyond that for more money I’m buying something mechanical. If I’m spending more than the titanium square it’s likely not getting knocked around. I’ve always used any watch I’ve ever owned, including the MM300. I’m not sure if that one was a fluke that it died or if I killed it, but I suck with mechanical watches.
