I love the 5600’s, I have a few of them. So fun and wearable, size is great.
I’m thinking of getting one of these 5610 but the negative display is a turn off

One of my new 5600 has negative display and it can be hard to read. It’s a pain outside and I never wear it.

I got it tonight. I love it. The grey and black looks great with my uniform. It’s super light and a nice size.
The lack of features is fine. It won’t be used for anything but time.
I’ll take a better picture later if I get a chance.Image

That looks great. Let us know how legible the display is.

Looks great, and the display is pretty clear. May be equivalent to the 7900 with negative display which is the easiest to read out of all the ones I've seen with a negative display.

It’s definitely more legible than my 7900.

I took a few shots of my 5600’s to show some of the dial difference. The all black and red I can’t read the time sometimes inside like earlier going down the stairs.

Chris that looks so nice.

Brice thanks for the pics.

Good thing is, these G shocks don’t lose much value, so easy to try out and flip

I paid $88 at Macy’s for the 5610. I figured one of my kids will steal it eventually, anyway.

I appreciate those pics Chris. The negative display does look better than in the past, but I still prefer the regular displays.
When all this pandemic shit ends I’m going to pick up another G steel, black with rubber strap.

Mine landed today so i thought I’d share pics of it at different angles, and comparison shots with my D5600-HR which also has a negative display.
