Chat-GPT

Anybody been messing around with Chat-GPT? I just started playing with it and it’s pretty impressive. I’ve seen the pro version do some pretty crazy stuff so far and this AI technology is really just in its infancy. I’m trying to get out ahead of the curve in my own work because the thing has already passed law school and business school exams

Lol apparently it’s already a huge hit for college kids. I’m gonna do a presentation on innovation to my group (business process analysts) and I had it write my intro for me. Gonna just read it and then share that it was written by AI

I have played with it. In my specialist area it gets things wrong. It might be ok for college kids to write essays with but isn't able to go beyond basic findings to 'cross-pollinate' and apply logic from one area and apply it in another (it doesn't do anything original). Which makes sense for an AI.

give it time. last summer, the visual AIs were only so-so. right now, they're 100x better than they were over the summer.

AI is useful to find interconnections within data that are hard for us to see because of high complexity. When an AI goes beyond its data it will be more interesting. I don't see it happening.

It will write you a great country song..."write a country song about me and my old Evinrude..."

'Great' and 'a country song' don't belong in the same sentence

I havent got it to either accept my request for an id or to let me try it.

Keep getting random website errors or “Currently we are receiving more requests than we are comfortable with! To try your request again, come back in a short while and reload this page”

Nice way to launch your product. I’ve been getting the same message for two weeks. Maybe they can crowd source some servers.

ChatGPT helps to illustrate the possibilities. Truly useful application will come from more specific and pointed training data than the generic internet at large.

I think it’s a pretty significant wide-scale beta release. Looking forward to the things people do with the professional version of the AI model.

it really just doesn't like talking about bad sexual things, no matter how true it is.
