Nuclear-Powered Sky Cruise Ship/Hotel
Nuclear-Powered Sky Cruise Ship/Hotel
Guys, thought this was at least a lot of fun to see.
It’s just a concept video, but the ship/hotel would be nuclear
powered, as well as be able to hold 5000 people.
So what do you think?
Have a video right here, along with picture:

LOL, you get views of nature? At 38,000 feet and 500 +/- MPH, what nature to you expect to see?
Not to mention when one falls out of the sky, not only do you get 5,000 deaths, you also get a nuclear incident to clean up.
Plus, with the state of international relations, who is going to let a flying nuclear reactor into their airspace? Pretty certain he USA is going to say “no” to that one.
It’s a fun sci-fi concept, but I think it is decades away from reality.

This is beyond stupid in my be opinion. Kind of like assuming the big fat lady will never trip and fall.
Re: Nuclear-Powered Sky Cruise Ship/Hotel
I think you’d probably see a nuclear powered Carnival cruise ship before you see this.
Even so, I really don’t see any government allowing a nuclear powered civilian anything. The risks are simply too great and the potential negative consequences too significant.

I have a recurring nightmare where there's a small nuclear reactor in the basement of my childhood home, and something goes haywire, and I'm trying desperately to shut it down.
Re: Nuclear-Powered Sky Cruise Ship/Hotel
Yup, it's just science fiction honestly guys, but it's at least fun to think about something
like this. But I think they went maybe a little crazy with the sheer amount of people the ship
could hold. Maybe not in the Star Wars galaxy, or with Star Trek, but not in our reality. Or at
least not for a long way into the future right?! Also, I think the key to this whole thing is
just for them to use some of the reverse engineered alien technology we have recovered
throughout the years.
Otherwise something like this will have a problem getting off the ground I think. Literally.
Still is neat to talk about with you guys. ..Can't thank you enough for giving your thoughts !!!

Has anyone read Hell Diver’s? Sci fi book where in an apocalyptic future, the remains of the human race live on Nuclear powered aircraft.

If you put a large switch in some cave somewhere, with a sign on it saying 'End-of-the-World Switch. PLEASE DO NOT TOUCH', the paint wouldn't even have time to dry.

Leave it to the Nuke! I stand corrected.Henryj wrote: ↑Sat Jul 16, 2022 6:29 pmhttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NS_Savannah#Museum_shipRyeguy wrote: ↑Sun Jul 03, 2022 4:04 pmI think you’d probably see a nuclear powered Carnival cruise ship before you see this.

That said, I think it is fair to say the idea didn’t exactly take off. She was deactivated the year I was born!
