The old splitter got through the winter, but figured it's time to set the new splitter up.
I just need to build out the top of the broken work table base to fit the larger footprint.
Eventually, I'll build a new base.
Winter's coming.

The device is meant to cut wood right? Please tell me it's all/mostly for grilling
Or do you actually need wood to help warm you through the winter? Because unless you live in a stupid place like Europe where we shoot ourselves in the foot with regards to energy policy, I would imagine you have cheaper/more efficient alternatives that don't require manual work?
I'm puzzled
Think hydraulic press with a wedge on the business end. It forces a steel wedge through the log, lengthwise.Seppia wrote: ↑Mon Aug 15, 2022 5:59 pmI am a useless city boy, so Matt you'll have to help me understand
