Some thing I picked up for the vintage dive watch collection

Post by River Rat » Mon Oct 08, 2012 8:01 am

I went to the Alameda Antique fair the other day and picked this up for 20.00 buck thought it would go good with my vintage Doxa 300T.

Now what I can do is remove the original 19mm Tropc strap and use it on one of my vivtage dive watches with 19 mm lugs.Hint these sell on Ebay 20-35 buck is better than when you just see a original 19mm tropic strap all by it self for 195.00 bucks. For 20 buck you get the depth meter for free better than 195.00 bucks for the strap all by it self.

Bring it to our next gtg.
The real one's are softer than the cheap copies that sell for 20-30 bucks on fleabay.I would never pay 195.00 for a real one.

Be careful Mike....Gauge collecting is a slippery slope too!
By the way they didn't come with tropic straps, that was definitely an add on later..
