A little history lession

Dan Henry did a blog on deck watch history kind of tells you in a way why I collect a few. There is a Ulysse Nardin one in the article it came after the model I have. A good read. In that article he does says there are under looked by collectors and can be had under 4000 and since there under looked some bargains can be had and were the tool watches of there day. The one I just added to the collection I got under 2000 it's in a water proof brass case and in a wooden box for protection and I got it regulated to 1 second fast a day and it will run for 56 hours on one wind they were well made. And who knows when it was serviced and it's keeps that good time well next month I will drop it off for a service maybe the watchmaker will say it does not need one yet best to have it looked at.
