6309 off to IWW

Post by Bob1035 » Mon Dec 20, 2021 6:36 am

I picked this up from my buddy https://www.instagram.com/wristsushii/ a while ago and have really enjoyed it. Its a mutt, and beater for sure but I don't care. Finally decided to send it off for a relume, so I figured I'd share the "before" picture as a placeholder for the "after". Jack at IWW quoted a 4-6 week turnaround time, so we'll see how that actually turns out :fro:

I sent a 7548 in to Jack a couple months back and service & a relume took ~ 4wks. Half what i was expecting considering how long everything takes these days. Very happy with his work...

Jack had done his magic on mine, before I bought from someone in the States. Got the invoice from him somewhere showing what he'd done, relume, new gaskets and pressure test amongst other things.

Man I'm super stoked. Its not a drastic difference, but Jack really was able to preserve the character of the dial and hands. Can't wait to get this back in the rotation!

I had low expectations for actual lume performance, and I was extremely surprised this morning that it was perfectly legible at oh dark thirty!
