Interesting Vintage Military Photo

I came across this grainy photo in a book I’m reading. It shows a SEAL in Vietnam around 1967, and it looks like he’s wearing a Tornek Rayville TR 900 diver.

I’m not sure of that identification but it seems possible. I believe these guys were also issued Tudor subs in this time frame.

Kinda makes you feel sorry for todays Navy divers - they get plastic quartz powered Altitude/GPS/Compass/Depth Gauge watches with no soul instead.

that's a good catch and I think you're right about it being a TR diver

The vintage military watches were the best!
