Been I while since I bought a US issued watch this size the WW2 and Korean war era watches were on the smaller size. Some years back I was looking for a birth year watch wanted a military issued one but 1958 slim so settled for a civilian Omega Seamaster instead. Well saw this Bulova A-17A with L-8 date code on movement for 1958 so now I got two birth year watches. Well on another forum saw some with one on a aged leather bund strap one thing a bund strap does is make smaller watches look bigger. So now I am on the hunt for a bund strap that looks aged and not cheap. This model sure has a large crown. Got it cheap the dial had me a little worried but it better than I thought it would be. Was going to have the dial relumed but might keep it this way.

It is better to know how to learn than to know.
