Back from a service Hamilton Electric RR Special wristwatch

Post by River Rat » Thu May 02, 2024 12:42 pm

I got this at a NAWCC mart when I lived in California. It never worked right has a temperamental Hamilton 505 electric movement one of the first battery powered watches before quartz. No local watchmaker in California or Montana would touch it. So, it sat for years. There was one guy who specializes in these waited too long and he retired. Another guy got his parts and sort of took over his business, so I mailed it off to Texas a few weeks ago. Got it back today.
