Nice! My understanding is this is still the official timekeeper for Japan's rail system and as a railroad employee I've always found these interesting. I've never actually bought one because the Japanese tradition is to have a dedicated holder for it on the locomotive which we do not have and and I'd be concerned about damaging it in my pocket while working as a conductor in freight and I would definitely want to use it. Very cool piece.

That’s the reason I carried a pocket watch on the boat.
