Just Landed On My Wrist
Just Landed On My Wrist
Dear Comrades,
This vintage baby just landed on my wrist. It is from 04.'77. This is the first time I am owning this line of Seiko, which is 4004 -> 0903 - 8089 3 jewels. It came with a very fresh battery:
What do you think? The original SS bracelet fits perfectly, and very comfortable.
Serdal.

Nice, I have one similar.
Very light, comfy and disappears on the wrist.

Thank you all very much. You all are very right. It is heavy despite being quartz, and but also disappears on the wrist, and because of the very comfy bracelet you don't even feel it. For its price (Lucky us!) these vintage Quartz Seikos are really value for the money. Their movements are very accurate, very reliable, and will tick for many years without worrying about servicing.

Re: Just Landed On My Wrist
Very nice. Back in the day, these vintage Seiko quartz were more expensive than their mechanical counterparts. Seiko also considered them on a higher tier.
