Local vintage watch store has this original serviced Pogue -6030R (first pic) he’s proposing to swap into the unpolished 6139-6002 case (second pic) for me. He's also going to replace the dial hands. Serial # on the polished case is 620187 (February 1976), serial number on the unpolished case is 731360 (March 1977). He's also going to put it on the original H-link bracelet.
Questions:
- the -6030R looks original based on what I’ve reviewed online. Anything stand out to you all?
- Did this model come with the white inner ring?
- any noteworthy differences between R and T series that would be good to know?
- my understanding is that this was a US dial but the 6002 case might have been a non-US case #?
- cost will be $1,000-1,200 with warranty. Over or under priced? Or spot on?
- Should I just keep it in the polished case (and keep everything original) and ask for a discounted price?
- anything else that would be good to know before purchasing?
Thanks in advance!

Well, just drop by the house and put your feet on the furniture, fart, and call my wife fat too.

Someone may respond but you may have better luck asking this question at SCWF or Wrist Sushi. I have an original pogue I covet which I bought from its original owner from one of those sites, granted it was many years ago, and I just inquired with a forum regular if he would be willing to sell one of his gems.
I've forgotten most of my due diligence regarding the pogue, but that price it seems like you could get into an all original "non-date-franken" If feasible for the price, I'd say keep it all original... but i'm too out of touch to answer your other questions. Also. watch makers are certainly asking for a premium. If you're willing to drop $1200 on a pogue go to those forums and ask around... someone just might be willing to sell for that price or less.
Good luck!
