1. You thought about freezing, thawing, repeat... What about boiling it?
2. Send it to China in a Shaolin temple and get them to use it as an end bit to pull trucks with their crotches.
3. Ok #2 was a joke... But I reckon if you sponsored a tough mudder or ironman event they'll reciprocate.

Test environment ideas?
Know any local kids who run track and wear a watch? G-shock type watches take 22mm these days. Maybe one of those kids could wear a Toxic during spring/summer training and beat the hell out of a strap.
Not sure if football, bball or hockey players are allowed to wear watches. If yes then more abuse opportunities.

I'll also wear one while hanging out of helicopters, getting doused repeatedly with sea water, jumping from a ship onto a small boat in a violent ocean, working on my property, working out, showering, working on my vehicles and small machines getting greasy and oily, skiing, and hiking/climbing.Nomadz wrote:That's as long as Walmart allow me to do this while working in the deli.Nomadz wrote:Just bought a grey one. Give some to local fire departments. Those guys would really put it to a good test.

Sitting in a recliner watching HBO isn't that stressful on a watch strap.Captdave wrote:Give some to local fire departments. Those guys would really put it to a good test.

Or they might get frayed from rubbing against their pants while holding XBOX controllers.
Or doing sun ops outside.
Or talking. A lot. While playing foosball. And pool.

You could have "I'm a hero" stitched into theirs, so they won't have to keep telling you. They'll still fucking tell you.

I've got three friends that were SEALS before they became firemen. Guess who they like to talk about?

Is now I good time to mention I did four years with the FD...?

Whisky has killed more men than bullets, but most men would rather be full of whisky than bullets.

In all seriousness send some to the Smokejumpers. These firemen do a very tough and dangerous job.

those dudes are bad ass, but that would have to be in the summer when fires are bigger. Great idea though. If I can build up some stock then I can get a few out to them.Nomadz wrote:In all seriousness send some to the Smokejumpers. These firemen do a very tough and dangerous job.

I have one friend like this and it drives me crazy. It is bad enough that I work with a couple of "ring knockers" also.Grahamcombat wrote:I've got three friends that were SEALS before they became firemen. Guess who they like to talk about?

And they're into cross fit so it's like a never ending stream of "look at me". Love it. Never ending material.toxicavenger wrote:I have one friend like this and it drives me crazy. Coast guard rescue swimmers would also be a good bunch of guys to have field test them.Nomadz wrote:In all seriousness send some to the Smokejumpers. These firemen do a very tough and dangerous job.

Have a lot of respect for fire fighters after having gone through a month of fire training in marine fire fighting for my job. Nothing I'd want to do for a living but I'm glad that others do.hoppyjr wrote:Is now I good time to mention I did four years with the FD...?
