RAF straps heads up!

Post by toxicavenger » Sat May 14, 2016 6:30 pm

Guys I will probably not be carrying RAF style nylon straps. But a guy I met (Zach) who runs Cincy straps carries them and I really like what he is doing. So I have no problems recommending him to anyone. http://www.cincystrapworks.com/

I just ordered some stuff from him today and blowfish has recommended him to me in the past also.

What's a RAF style? With a nylon keeper? Or without the extra flap? I always get those confused.

Well then I'd rather by toxic for the hardware and cut off the extra flap. Must be the ones with nylon keepers?

Right guys, but some guys don't like the hardware on the strap. So I thought I would check some of these out personally. And Zach has been a cool cat to deal with.

Might have to check those out, too. A buddy has one on his ExpII and it wears well... very low profile.

Remember you can do a RAF also with a normal nato strap by cutting off the excess material.
