Shoulderless spring bars on a Seiko MM, they rock!
Garrick (ganson) took this pic that shows how some of the shoulderless bars I carry work on a Seiko MM. I use them also on mine and they fit seamlessly to the case.

Terry is there an added advantage to these shoulder less springs bars over the stock Seiko fat bars

All a matter of opinion I think. But the shoulderless if you buy the correct ones they will have a longer extension that goes further into the lug holes. The Seiko fat bars are great but they don't have as much of an extension so they get less (penetrationr.palace wrote:Terry is there an added advantage to these shoulder less springs bars over the stock Seiko fat bars

Shoulderless are better with rubber straps, since the strap can't grab the shoulder and compress the bar. I can actually remove straps on my tuna just by squeezing the strap and twisting.

I think my MM has shoulderless/sans flange springbars. I may have to order a back up set, Terry.

The og fat bars don't have shoulders on the MM. They just have a poodle pecker size extension.BSears wrote:I think my MM has shoulderless/sans flange springbars. I may have to order a back up set, Terry.
