Name change, Ute Watch Co.

Post by toxicavenger » Sun Jun 07, 2020 6:45 pm

We have changed our name. It will be a few days before it takes full effect. It will be Ute Watch Co. Ute is the valley by our house.

Why the name change you ask? Time to make a move in a different direction.

Other issues? COVID! Almost everything I shipped overseas has been lost by the carriers. I can not leave customers hanging so I have refund a lot of them. USPS is now not shipping to these countries https://about.usps.com/newsroom/service ... elcome.htm Due to this business has been jacked the last few months and only getting worse it seems. :banghead:

We are still doing watch services. No issues with that. Expect for parts from Omega/Swatch has not started shipping yet. :crybaby:

Dang - sorry about your troubles but congrats on ripping off the band aid and plowing through with your head up!

Hard times only make you harder ;)

(Please don’t go there...)

Good luck T!

I like the new name. Good move. Look at it as a growing step on your path.

Good work Terry! We all know the quality of your product, so it doesn't really matter what the name of the company is! :salute:

1- how do you say Ute?
Is it “yoot”?

2- I don’t understand what Covid has to do with shipping. Are all of those countries postal employees all dying of Covid?

Countries outside the US seemed to have slowed down importing or stopped it completely due to the COVID outbreak.

Hey Terry, good luck with the new name.

Excellent decision Terry - great name.

Plus, let's face it: these days, shipping anything with the name "Toxic" on the package is just asking for a delay.
