Post by AtomicTom » Mon Nov 21, 2022 10:36 am

Hey everyone, did you see Le Jour’s Brooklyn by chance recently?

This new watch will have a 40mm stainless steel case, coin edge bezel,
cool textured black, blue, light blue, beige, and green dials, stainless
steel bracelets, along with Sellita SW200.

Here is a look...

Absolutely not my style of watch, however that choice of hands/markers/dial goes extremely well together. Looks great.

I see these as kind of a variation on the theme begun by those colorful Rolex Oyster Perpetual 124300, but with enough unique features to make them not a direct copy.

Personally, I’m not sure the patterned dial goes well with the fluted bezel (maybe a bit too much going on) but I like the dial colors, applied indices, and hand choice.

At $800, I think these are a decent option if you are interested in this style watch.

I read you Eric, it’s definitely dressy, but does grab you looks wise which
is refreshing to say about a dress watch. ..Yup, I’m with you it really does
look great no doubt. :) And Chris, I think you are right about these taking
after those Oyster Perpetuals. :salute: Everything is similar, but all of the funky
cool features make it just fun to see. ..Although I wish that $800 price tag
was at the very least, cut in half.

Really want to thank you guys for giving your two cents on these !!!
