Obris Morgan's Port

Post by AtomicTom » Tue Dec 07, 2021 10:24 am

Has anyone had time to see Obris Morgan's Port already?

It seems like the watch has a very unique way about it. With just a few of
the details looking to include a 39mm case (42.2mm w bezel), 200m WR,
a sapphire crystal, microtextured matte dials in black, blue, sand, and olive
with unique SLN coated hands, as well as segments. With nice straps, and
Miyota 9015 right there beneath things.

A few pics...

Very nice minimalist look. Slim and simple. A lot to like here.

I think the case, bezel, crown and end links have a LOT of good things going for it. Sadly, totally ruined by the dial. Oh, and horrible date window.
Now, if he were to put a Sinn inspired dial in there, could be on to something.

I agree, except the overly complicated end links detract from the design.

There is a fine line when a watch company wants to try something different
I guess guys. I mean I honestly think it's pretty terrific, but I know there is
a lot about this watch that really goes, or thinks outside the box. It's kind of
a love it, or hate it kind of design. And maybe if this design had been around
for a long time, everyone would be used to it. But since it's so different, it
can turn people off at first.

Was definitely at least fun to see, and love hearing what everyone thought
about them. Thanks very very much guys !!! :salute:

Yep those end links are odd. I'd have to wear it on another strap.
