Vaer’s D4 Atlantic Solar Diver

Post by AtomicTom » Tue Apr 19, 2022 11:17 am

Hey everyone, did you know that Vaer had a solar watch?

Recently stumbled upon their D4 Atlantic Solar Diver. Which has details
like a 38mm stainless steel case, aluminum 120 click unidirectional bezel,
nice matte black dials with either white, or vintage lume color hands, and
markers, stainless steel bracelet, along with strap styles like Tropic, leather,
and NATO. And the Epson VS22 is behind everything.

Some pics for you...

If it's really a 39mm case that guys arm must be tiny.

Clean design, but I think the sweet spot would be 42mm

You have an amazing eye Bjorn. ;) :salute:

That’s probably what it would look like on my arm I bet.
Honestly think 42mm might attract more people, you are
right. Or they could maybe have 42mm as well as the 39mm.
Which would be the best if both worlds.

Can’t thank you enough for giving your thoughts sir !!!

I dig it, especially for sub $500. Definitely a Scurfa D1-500 / Seiko SNE fighter...

They are pretty intriguing aren’t they guys?! :)

Kind of like a more toolish, tough looking Eco-Drive when you
think about it. Having a serious dive personality, but with a
twist under the hood. Not to mention, a semi reasonable price
tag.

I’m so glad you enjoyed them. ..Want to thank you just for
looking, as well as of course giving your two cents !!
