Praesidus A-11 Marston Mat L.E.

Hey everyone, have you had time to see the Praesidus A-11 Marston Mat L.E.?

A while back we touched on some of their watches, and now they have this
limited edition model.

The watch has specifications like a sandblasted 38mm stainless steel case,
Soprod P024 automatic movement (similar to the ETA 2824), green canvas,
or leather straps, along with a dial made of Marston Mat from UTAH Beach
in Saint-Marie-du-Mont.

Marston Mat was used during WWII to create stable surfaces over unstable
surfaces like sand for troops, and vehicles to travel over. It's a pressed steel
planking with holes in it to reduce weight as well as provide drainage also.

Have a few pictures right here...

Not my kind of watch but interesting read and video on their website about their two Ambassadors, two veterans of the 101st Airborne division who fought through D- day and the battle of the bulge.

Definitely is great how the brand likes to honor the past, as well as
it’s heroes Andy. :) And you know what’s nice too, is they have the
special editions like this. But also their regular versions of the very
same watches which look to be more affordable.

I’m so happy you enjoyed sir. ;) Thanks a ton just for looking, and
also for chiming in !!!
