Nice looking, and priced well. I’m not so sure I would like that 13-24 bezel though.

No date quartz watches are my favorite for work. If I didn’t already have the Winfield I’d grab the one with the big numbers and smooth bezel.

I like the fixed bezel 12-3-6-9 version. Would be a nice nato beater. I don’t need another quartz grab & go, but for two bones it seems solid.
I do wish they left the EDC engraving off the side of the case, but surely it’s less noticeable on wrist.

I’m in for one. With the numerals on the dial and not sure on bezel.

I like the design... naming it after the acronym for Every Day Carry sounds cheesy as hell though.

Dig the look. Dig the price point.
Hate the name. Hate the bezel.

I really like the EDC-2 on the bracelet - lots to like but I HATE the neck tattoo on the side. That’s a non-starter for me.
Are they trying to emulate Invicta?!

The name is less than ideal, curious who he came up with that.Chocodove wrote:I think they are trying too hard with the name.
This is perhaps for future plans for that company to offer other products beyond watches?

I great the feeling that they’re trying to be “tacti-cool”.Jeep99dad wrote:The name is less than ideal, curious who he came up with that.Chocodove wrote:I think they are trying too hard with the name.

At least they dont have “SEAL” or “UDT” in the name.

My wife tells me that cargo pants are coming back into style... so maybe they will capitalize on all of the crazy shit that the EDC crowd brings to their offices.

I only recently learnt that they went out of style, where am I supposed to put my stuff?dnslater wrote:My wife tells me that cargo pants are coming back into style... so maybe they will capitalize on all of the crazy shit that the EDC crowd brings to their offices.
And 7” shorts? Really???
Re: Lum-Tec has started a new brand!
I went with the numeral version with smooth bezel even though I strongly dislike the name. Design won out and I don’t currently have a quartz beater.

It’s actually a brilliant name in today’s social media culture #EDC

lol. At 42, going to be 43, I don’t care what’s in style. I wear jeans, cargo pants, camo cargo pants, and cargo shorts that are 12 inches.james80 wrote:I only recently learnt that they went out of style, where am I supposed to put my stuff?dnslater wrote:My wife tells me that cargo pants are coming back into style... so maybe they will capitalize on all of the crazy shit that the EDC crowd brings to their offices.

And out of style or not, a lot of places still sell them every year.

I switched to Royal Robbins several years back for their cargo shorts that don't look like cargo shots. They hold up really good.james80 wrote: ↑Fri Mar 10, 2023 6:54 pmI only recently learnt that they went out of style, where am I supposed to put my stuff?dnslater wrote:My wife tells me that cargo pants are coming back into style... so maybe they will capitalize on all of the crazy shit that the EDC crowd brings to their offices.

Re: Lum-Tec has started a new brand!
I like the EDC2 (the bezel version is weird), but like has been mentioned, some of the details are a little not my taste.
...but my question is why would a micro brand start their own micro brand? Why not a "tactical" product line?
FWIW I am the proud owner and wearer of not one, but two pairs of Magpul MDS shorts. So take that.
