Hemlig Quartz - Thoughts?
Hi all,
Wanted your opinions on whether or not I should produce a Quartz version of my Hemlig? I have received quite a few requests but have never done a quartz watch. I certainly understand the "grab and go" convenience and obviously price point could be attractive to many.
Thanks in advance for your input!
Best,
Todd

Maybe a good idea but If you do please use the Seiko VH movement with the seconds hand that ticks 4 times per second
also make a version with numbers type 2
Re: Hemlig Quartz - Thoughts?
I agree with Carlo. Scurfa has nailed the affordable quartz and can’t keep in stock. Every one I’ve owned (and still do) the seconds hand hits all the marks well, so I’d suggest aiming for that too.
Keep it affordable and the QC tight, I predict you’ll have a winner.

I absolutely love no-date quartz watches for work. Just make sure you don’t use skimpy hands or otherwise make it look inferior to the auto version.

I’m working on a version identical to the automatic version but with a Seiko VH31 movement. Target price $279.

Re: Hemlig Quartz - Thoughts?
I did not buy the hemlig bc there was no quartz option. With quartz and below 300$ would be an instant buy for me!
Re: Hemlig Quartz - Thoughts?
Yes that would be a great offering.
