New partnership announced between Omega and Swatch to produce “bioceramic” 42mm Speedmasters with quartz movements, priced at $260. I want to swap the dial and cases for a cheap fun Alaska Project!

Got to admit I checked to see if April 01 had come round a bit quicker than expected

I want one as well…. I’ll let you guys buy them, sell them at a profit, wait for the 2nd or 3rd hand market to wear off the shiny object bump and pick one up next year for 150 bones
Remember that timex everyone had to have?

Yeah the classic would be first choice. But no store in Los Angeles area so I'm wondering if other stores have online sales.

There is a Miami store but unclear if they’ll have this available for online purchase (or for purchase at this store at all).

They will be available online at the Swatch store soon. I was in the swatch store last night and talked to the sales rep. Also, these are not limited according to the rep so no need to panic looking for one.

Cool. I’m down for one for fun when the fever subsides.

True, but they look like the iconic speedy’s, so that’s the hook.
