I can’t find Todd’s website either. All links go to that other page

I sent a DM to Todd on IG. Hopefully we’ll get some clarification

I just tried to send him an email but it bounced back as address not found.andrema wrote:I sent a DM to Todd on IG. Hopefully we’ll get some clarification

I doubt Todd sold the name-I’ve seen those exact watches before, they remind of a spinnaker, but anyways look like they just took the name.
Unfortunately it seems that the original Aegir is official dead-no email, no website etc.
What a shame. Hope Todd is doing ok.

That is a shame. That new company is linking his redirecting his website to theirs too.

The brand or the name? Because that site you linked to is definitely not a continuation of Todd’s work, that’s for sure.andrema wrote:I just heard that the brand was sold

Clarification - the company registered name and trademarked it. Solar Time owns the name now…

I was correct then as I said above that the watches reminded me of Spinnaker. Solar Time Limited is who owns Spinnaker amongst many other brands.andrema wrote:Clarification - the company registered name and trademarked it. Solar Time owns the name now…

That is what I was thinking. Just a rebranded Spinnaker.tattoo chef wrote: ↑Wed Feb 16, 2022 5:31 pmI was correct then as I said above that the watches reminded me of Spinnaker. I don’t want to dog on spinnaker. I’ve reviewed many and they have their place. But to see this what happened to the Aegir name is just heartbreaking.toxicavenger wrote:That is what I was thinking. Re: Aegir is still here
when he was making the buckles he told me he had way to many things going on to dedicate time to watches. i think he was also building a new house. he was up against a wall price wise when the aussie dollar was worth so little but he was paying top dollar to european part manufactures. so i guess loosing money didn't sound inviting anymore.tattoo chef wrote: ↑Wed Feb 16, 2022 7:33 pmI don’t want to dog on spinnaker. Re: Aegir is still here
Damn!
I saw Aegir on Kickstarter, and was confused over the name.
Too bad, but I guess Todd was able to get something out of the deal.

Re: Aegir is still here
I see it as part of a Norwegian company Valhalla watches.
The kickstarter was canceled.. Is that what you saw?
