To my eye they look exactly like blasted titanium.sierra11b wrote:And incoming U50 SDR-T.

I only went tegimented because i've never tried one in all the Sinns i've ever owned. Are they really darker or is that a myth?

Good to know. Appears darker for sure. After Hop posted I found a good side-by-side pic that couldn't be mistaken for lighting.

If anyone has any questions about specific models, I probably already have the answer.

Not terrible, but I already have the best U-50 in the Pro. It’s light enough that I don’t need titanium, but prefer the no-date.
Still no adjustable clasp. Oh well.

I don’t really see the benefit of titanium in such a small watch. Maybe they’ll do a full size titanium model some day.hoppyjr wrote:Not terrible, but I already have the best U-50 in the Pro. It’s light enough that I don’t need titanium, but prefer the no-date.

A full size U-1 Pro titanium with adjustable clasp. That would get my attention!CGSshorty wrote:I don’t really see the benefit of titanium in such a small watch. Very cool, $3k+ pricing puts it out of my realm, but glad to see they're coming out with new stuff.

Like the Titanium T50 a lot. Would prefer black bezel, which will probably come along in good time. Almost $4k on bracelet though. A T50-Pro would be hard to resist

Re: 2023 novelties are coming soon [emoji41]
That was my initial thought, but I do love the weightless feeling of strapping on my FXD. U50 is small, but you still definitely feel it on your wrist, vs small Ti divers that you just forget about like a plastic watch. Titanium also conducts differently so feels warmer.
They already made a full size Titanium model with the T1? Assumed the T50 was sort of a smaller T1.

I like the Sinn U50-T DS Limited Edition, but I think it might end up feeling too monochromatic after the new watch smell wears off.

As someone who’s skin doesn’t like the nickel content of most steel cases watches titanium is awesome. I’m really excited about the T50, but I think the price kinda sucks. Also, I’m surprised there’s no difference in price between silicone strap and bracelet. Now I’ll debate between waiting to see if price goes down on secondary market or if I should just grab one new?
Re: 2023 novelties are coming soon [emoji41]
These new releases are overall fine to me. But I feel like Sinn needs to offer just a little bit more than what we get for these new aggressive price points.

They get so close on some of these, I just need to ask for my input to get it, right.
Give us a titanium T50 with its funky, push down bezel, but with normal U50 markers and hands in the Pro style. Keep the logo & markings gray. Eliminate the two-tone lume in favor of straight X1 in either blue or green. Have a no-date option. I’d pay $4k for that.
…..and seriously Sinn; how hard would it be to give us an adjustable clasp at this point in 2023?
I don’t see myself buying another Sinn until a clasp happens. Sheesh!

Hey Chris,
What movement is in the T50? I couldn’t find it on the website.

For some reason brands significantly underplay their Sellita movements. WatchBuys will provide you with the movement type.

Love the new T50
As with any new watch release, there’s going to be haters, lovers and skeptics.
I for one think the T50 is progressing the brand to new heights! Sure an in-house movement with silicone hair spring would have been awesome. Like Damasko, it would have raised the price by another $1,000.
Other than case design and movement the T50 is completely different from the U50.
Grade 5 titanium case
Tegimented Grade 5 titanium bezel with Captive Bezel Safety System- push to turn like the T1/T2/U1000. This translates to killer bezel action with zero back play.
New dial with bi-colored Super Lumanova grade X1 just like the T1/T2
Sword hands like U212/U2/UX
AR with copper sulfate capsule.
Domed sapphire like the U2/U1 Pro/U50 Pro
I consider all of these excellent upgrades and therefore the price reflects it. IIRC the last time WB had the T1, it too was $3,800. So the T50 isn’t sticker shock for me.
Hopefully Watchbuys will have the Roadshow this summer so I can see it in person
WB says delivery’s start in July.
Looks good on the grey/green fabric strap

Sinn developed their Goldbronze 125, 12.5% gold, in house.
